Nielsens - about us

Nielsens is owned and managed by Matthew Nielsen and his wife Emma, who are passionate about delivering quality bespoke homes with excellent customer service.

Matthew has a wealth of experience in building, ranging from new builds, restoring listed buildings, barn conversions, eco-builds and large scale project management.

With a background in civil engineering, Matthew went onto study Building at Oxford Polytechnic then obtained a Bsc(Hons) in Residential Development from Nottingham Trent University in 1995. Matthew has always enjoyed working on older buildings and has become specialised in ‘green building’ in more recent years. Nielsens have been involved in some exciting projects and have been installing renewable technologies since 2005.
